Cyclone Montha hits rail network: 122 trains cancelled, dozens rescheduled as South Central Railway braces for impact

As Cyclone Montha began its landfall along the Andhra Pradesh coast on Tuesday evening, train operations across the South Central Railway zone came to a halt, with over 160 services disrupted due to the storm’s impact.

South Central Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer A. Sridhar said precautionary measures have been stepped up across the network.
