Crash probe doesn’t indicate any fault with the aircraft: Air India chief
Air India managing director and chief executive Campbell Wilson said on Wednesday that the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau’s (AAIB) preliminary findings on the Ahmedabad plane crash indicated there was nothing wrong with either the aircraft, engines, or the airline’s operational practices.
“Anything that happens in the industry – whether that’s us or others – is a cause for introspection and review. The interim report indicated that there was nothing with aircraft engines or practices that required changing. But of course, we’re always looking at how we can keep improving and learning,” Wilson said, addressing the Aviation India 2025 Summit.
