College on Wheels: Gyanodaya Express flags off in Jammu and Kashmir with 700 female students onboard – All you need to know
In a unique initiative, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha on Sunday (November 19) inaugurated the ‘Gyanodaya Express – College on Wheels’ train at Katra Railway Station in Reasi district.
Describing it as an “educational pilgrimage,” Lt Governor Sinha informed that the goal of breaking down the barriers of traditional classrooms and academic streams, promoting immersive, collaborative, and project-based learning experiences.
In a statement shared on X, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Sinha announced, “Launched Gyanodaya Express, College on Wheels, a pioneering mobile educational initiative in Jammu and Kashmir. This initiative aims to empower around 700 female students from the universities of the Union Territory.”
