Coal India can sustain hot run on higher volumes, lower costs

Mumbai: Coal India could remain an investor favourite in 2024 as experts see room for further upside in its shares, which clocked their best yearly gains of over 67% in 2023.

The stock, which posted net positive returns for the third year in a row in 2023, is at the highest level in eight years. On Tuesday, Coal India shares closed at ₹392.65 on the NSE, up nearly 3% from the previous close.
