Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has granted approval to about Rs 4 crore for improvement of the motor road to Pipli village, the native village of martyr major Chitresh Bisht. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is attempting to link the village of martyrs by road, which is also a subject linked to the honour of martyrs.
The State Government is also committed to providing all necessary support to the family of martyrs and to keep the memories of the martyrs alive.
In this regard, the additional chief secretary, Om Prakash, informed that the work of improving and tarring of the Tadikhet-Pipli-Manjurkhan motor road which provides link to Bisht’s paternal village of Pipli in Ranikhet Vidhan Sabha area in Almora district will be executed under the state plan.
