Civil Aviation Minister Naidu says will ‘definitely’ sack IndiGo’s CEO if ‘it comes to that’, blames co’s ‘internal mess’ for disruptions
Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu on Tuesday delivered his strongest warning yet to IndiGo, saying he would “definitely” sack the airline’s top leadership, including the CEO and COO: “if it comes to that”, as nationwide cancellations mounted and the carrier continued to blame new duty norms for the meltdown.
In a combative interview with Times Now, Naidu said IndiGo alone was responsible for the crisis, accusing the airline of an “internal mess” and mismanaging its crew and rostering systems despite repeated consultations with the ministry.
