Centre begins audit of stuck green projects
Jhajjar (Haryana): The renewable energy ministry is making a “case by case” assessment of the green energy projects that are pending power sale agreements (PSAs) and a detailed analysis on the same is likely to come in 30-45 days, union minister of new & renewable energy Pralhad Joshi said on Monday.
Around 43.9 GW of renewable energy projects holding letter of award have not been able to sign power sale agreements as they got no takers. Many of these projects are plain solar or wind, which do not provide round the clock energy.
