Central Railway upgrade in Nov: 10 more services & 1 new station near Navi Mumbai airport, other near Uran

Mumbai: Commuters on Central Railway’s Belapur-Uran corridor are set for a major upgrade this month, with the railways planning to introduce 10 additional suburban services and open two new stations—Targhar and Gavhan.

Targhar station, located near the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport, will serve both daily commuters and airport personnel, significantly improving last-mile connectivity to the airport zone, officials added.
