CCL Director wins CHRO Award for Human Resource service delivery

Coal India Limited subsidiary Central Coalfield Limited (CCL), Director (Personnel), Vinay Ranjan, was awarded “CHRO of the Year Award” by Human Resource Department, Government of India in collaboration with Economic Times, the premier national professional body, in Kolkata on January 31.

This is in recognition for behaviour change in Human Resource service delivery brought at CCL and Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) – both subsidiary of Coal India.

The CHRO of the Year Award by HRD India recognize the best practices in corporate governance and promote the culture of good governance and social responsibility in the corporate sector.

When the Covid-19 pandemic hit the Country, Ranjan was looking after CCL and ECL as the Director of the Personnel Department and he monitored the welfare activities carried out in both the subsidiaries of Coal India,
