A consumer court in Mumbai has directed SpiceJet to pay a passenger Rs 55,000, ruling that the airline’s provision of just a single burger and fries during a 14-hour delay amounted to inadequate service, reported PTI.
The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Mumbai Suburban), led by president Pradeep Kadu and member Gauri M. Kapse, passed the order last week. The details became public on Monday.
