Boosting India’s aviation sector growth: Jewar International Airport set to take flight by year’s end, says Civil Aviation Minister

Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Thursday that the international airport at Jewar, Noida, will be operational by the end of this year. He also shared some statistics about the growth and development of the aviation sector in India.

The Noida airport, being developed in the Jewar area of Gautam Buddh Nagar district near Delhi, is expected to initially serve 65 lakh passengers (per year). This figure is expected to rise to seven crore passengers annually by 2042-43.
