Chennai: A bomb threat call received by Chennai Metro Rail control room on Friday evening prompted a detailed security check across trains and stations in the city. Police said the call appeared to be a hoax, as the caller was laughing while making the threat.
The threat call was received at around 5.45 pm, at the Koyambedu control office. The unidentified caller claimed that a bomb had been planted inside a Metro train.
