BHEL to upkeep Raipur’s Vivekanand Sarovar
The Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has entered into an agreement with the Raipur Smart City Limited (RSCL) for the upkeep of Budha Talab, the Vivekanand Sarovar in the capital city.
The deal was struck in a meeting between the two organisations on Thursday.
As per the deal, a sewage treatment plant with a capacity to treat three -million liter of water per day will be installed for Rs 17.90 crore to clean the lake by 2020.
As per the contract inked, the BHEL will also look after the operation and maintenance of the lake for the next 10 years.
