BHEL rallies 4% on robust Q2 show, profit soars 253% YoY

Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) rallied 4% to their day’s high of Rs 255 on Thursday, October 30, after the company reported a strong financial turnaround for the second quarter of FY26. The state-run engineering and manufacturing firm posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 374.89 crore in Q2 FY26, marking a sharp 253% year-on-year (YoY) jump from Rs 106.15 crore in the same period last year.
This performance also represents a significant recovery from the previous quarter, when BHEL reported a net loss of Rs 455.50 crore in Q1 FY26 (April–June 2025).
