Bengaluru to Ernakulam Vande Bharat services likely from mid-Nov
Bengaluru: Over a year after a temporary tri-weekly Vande Bharat was withdrawn in mid-2024, the railway ministry is set to launch a new Vande Bharat Express between Bengaluru and Ernakulam next month.
“We should be able to introduce a new Vande Bharat train between Ernakulam and Bengaluru via Palakkad,” railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said in a meeting with BJP leaders of Kerala and clarified the service is likely to begin by mid-Nov this year.
