Bengaluru metro travellers attention! BMRCL adds seventh train; aims to reduce yellow line peak-hour waits
Metro commuters on Bengaluru’s Yellow Line are set to get some relief during peak hours, as waiting times have been reduced following the induction of a seventh train into passenger service by Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) on January 15.
With the additional train, peak-hour services from Monday to Saturday will now operate at a frequency of one train every 10 minutes, compared with the existing 13-minute interval. The development is expected to bring relief to commuters by easing congestion during rush hours.
