Bengaluru Bandh: Indigo, Vistara among other airlines issue advisories for passengers – Details here

Karnataka capital Bengaluru will be witnessing a bandh today in a protest against the release of Cauvery water to the neighbouring state Tamil Nadu. This will be the first of the two bandhs called this week in Karnataka. Another bandh has been called for September 29, Friday.

Keeping in mind the bandh, several airlines have issued advisories for their passengers.

India’s leading airline IndiGo took to X, formerly Twitter, to advise its passengers to arrive at the airport at least 2.5 hours before domestic and 3.5 hours before international departures. It said that travel time to the Bengaluru airport may take longer than usual due to the bandh declared in the city.
