Aviation expansion: IndiGo to start direct Mumbai-Copenhagen flights from Oct 8; marks entry into Nordics

IndiGo is set to add Copenhagen to its international network from October 8, marking the airline’s entry into the Scandinavian region. The new services will be operated three times a week from Mumbai, expanding its reach further into Northern Europe.

The flights will use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft taken on wet/damp lease from Norse Atlantic Airways, IndiGo said on Tuesday. Copenhagen will become the carrier’s 44th international and 138th overall destination, PTI reported.
