A high-level meeting was Tuesday held here under the chairmanship of Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik to review progress on several important road and water projects in the state.
Nitin Gadkari, union minister for road transport and highways and Jitendera Singh, minister of state in the Prime Minister’s office, participated in the meeting, while J&K chief secretary BVR Subrahmanyam, union secretary, ministry of water resources; managing director, NHIDCL; principal resident commissioner J&K; commissioner (Indus) and other senior officers from the ministry of road transport and highways and the ministry of water resources were present.
