ArcelorMittal unveils three green energy projects in India with $900 million investment

ArcelorMittal on Monday unveiled three renewable energy projects in India with a total of 1 GW of nominal solar and wind capacity. The company is said to invest $900 million for the green projects.

Under the announced projects, 36 MW solar production will be set up in Amaravati, Maharashtra. Secondly, a 400 MW solar and 500 MWh battery energy storage project is planned in Bikaner, Rajasthan. ArcelorMittal has also announced 250 MW wind, 300 MW solar and 300 MWh of integrated battery storage project in Bachau, Gujarat.
