AP may clear Rs 12,700 cr green projects this week

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet is likely to consider approving green energy projects totalling 2,625 MW that involve an investment of ₹12,700 crore this week, people close to the development said. The projects include those of the Solar Energy Corporation of India, Serentica Renewables, Hexa Energy and Brightfuture Power.

This comes after the state government’s decision of de-allotment and notices to some developers such as Axis, Indosol and Ecoren that secured land parcels but could not initiate work, as per an ET report earlier this month.
