Anil Ambani-led Reliance Infra bags solar and storage project from NHPC
Anil Ambani-led Reliance Infrastructure has secured a Letter of Award (LoA) from NHPC, a Public sector power company, for 390 MW inter state transmission system (ISTS) – connected solar power project coupled with Battery Energy Storage
System (BESS). The project was awarded at a tariff of Rs 3.13 per kWh, placing it among the most competitive offerings in India’s renewable energy landscape.
The tender had drawn strong interest, with 15 entities participating and 14 qualifying for the e-reverse auction. NHPC’s tender was oversubscribed by almost four times, signalling growing demand for dispatchable renewable energy.
