Bengaluru: Barely days after facing flak from passengers for shifting the pick-up point for pre-booked taxis nearly 800 metres away from Terminal 1 (T1), Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) landed in fresh trouble: This time, over reducing space for state-run BMTC’s much-used Vayu Vajra airport buses.
Transport minister Ramalinga Reddy, who visited Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) Wednesday, came down strongly on the airport operator, making it clear that the removal of a row of bus bays reserved for BMTC was “just not acceptable”.
