Airbus A320 safety alert: What it means and everything you need to know if you have a flight soon

Air travel is expected to see delays across several routes after Airbus issued a global technical directive for its A320 family of aircraft, prompting Indian carriers Air India and IndiGo to adjust schedules and take portions of their fleets out of service for urgent software and hardware upgrades.
India’s aviation regulator directed airlines to stop operating the aircraft until they complete the modifications mandated under the EASA directive.
