Air India warns of flight delays after third-party system outage hits airports
Air India on Tuesday said a third-party system disruption has affected check-in operations at several airports across the country, leading to delays for multiple airlines. The carrier said its airport teams are working to minimise inconvenience as the outage continues to impact processing times.
According to the airline, the affected system is “progressively getting restored,” but some flights may still face delays until normal operations resume. The Tata-owned airline further advised passengers to check their flight status before leaving for the airport and to factor in additional time for check-in and security procedures.
