Air India may operate 275 more flights in December as IndiGo faces capacity cut

Air India has offered to operate up to 275 additional flights this month following a government-ordered 10% capacity cut for IndiGo, as the aviation ministry moves to rebalance routes during the peak travel season.

The Tata Group airline has also sought clarity from the ministry on how long the curbs on IndiGo will remain in place so it can plan capacity accordingly, reported Times of India’s Saurabh Sinha.
