Air India flight delays: Check-in system glitch hits multiple airports

Air India on Tuesday alerted passengers about possible flight delays caused by a “third-party disruption,” which is impacting “check-in systems at various airports.” The carrier noted that this disruption is affecting multiple airlines, not just Air India.

Check-in Systems Affected, Passengers Advised to Arrive Early

“Our airport teams are working diligently to ensure a smooth check-in experience for all passengers,” Air India said in a post on social media platform X. The airline added that the system was being gradually restored, but some flights would continue to experience delays “until the situation fully normalises.”
