Air India cargo chief Ramesh Mamidala resigns amid freight restructuring

Air India’s head of cargo Ramesh Mamidala has resigned, said people familiar with the matter, amid a broader restructuring of the freight business by the Tata Group-owned airline.

Mamidala, who joined in March 2023, has stepped down at a time when cargo has emerged as one of the few growth engines at Air India.

Air India declined to comment on Mamidala’s departure.
