MUMBAI: The father of late Capt Sumeet Sabharwal has accused Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) officials of making inappropriate and speculative claims about his son’s role in the Air India Ahmedabad accident during a home visit they paid him last month.
Capt Sabharwal was one of the two pilots on board the June 12 Air India Ahmedabad to London flight AI-171 that crashed soon after take-off. A total of 260 passengers, crew members, and people on the ground were killed.
