Aim to make India global hub for green hydrogen production: Pralhad Joshi
New Delhi: The government aims to make India a global hub for green hydrogen production, use, and export through its National Green Hydrogen Mission, renewable energy minister Pralhad Joshi said on Tuesday.
Speaking at the International Green Hydrogen Conference, Joshi said that with the world adopting the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, green hydrogen is no longer just a choice but an economic necessity.
The global economy is moving toward cleaner value chains, and those who adapt early will lead the markets of tomorrow, he said.
