Adani Power to set up 570 MW hydro power project in Bhutan in partnership with Druk Green Power

Adani Power and Druk Green Power Corp. Ltd., Bhutan’s state-owned generation utility, signed the Shareholders Agreement (SHA) for setting up a 570 MW Wangchhu hydroelectric project in the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Additionally, an in-principle understanding on the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) was also initiated. The developers also singed a Concession Agreement (CA) for the project with the Royal Government of Bhutan, the company said in a release.
