ACME Group’s Oman ammonia project first to get green certificate

Renewable energy firm ACME Group’s green hydrogen and ammonia project in Oman has been awarded the First Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia Certificate Globally by TÜV Rheinland, an independent certification agency.

By providing Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia Certification, TÜV Rheinland enables stakeholders to ensure that ammonia and hydrogen produced from regenerative sources has lower levels of greenhouse-gas emissions than conventional hydrogen or fossil fuels, it said in a statement .
