4 dead as train runs over them while they were crossing main line in UP’s Mirzapur

At least four people died after a passenger train run over then while they were crossing the rail line at Chunar station in Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur. The victims did not use the available Foot Over Bridge, and instead were crossing the main line from the railway track, the railways said.

“Train no 13309 (Chopan – Prayagraj Express) arrived at Chunar Station Platform 4 (in Uttar Pradesh). Some passengers got down on the wrong side and were trespassing from the main line while Foot Over Bridge is available. Train no 12311 (Netaji Express) was through from main line.
