Statiq, an electric vehicle charging network operating more than 400 EV charging points in Karnataka, has launched a no-cost charging initiative in the region. The company aims to motivate users to explore public charging options for long-distance travel, as many rely on home charging. Statiq asserts that their charging stations can accommodate various electric vehicles, including popular models like Tata Nexon, MG ZS EV, and Tata Tiago EV.
To access the free charging service, users simply have to download the Statiq app, sign in, add their vehicle details, and initiate the charging process. Statiq emphasizes that there are no hidden charges, and users can charge their electric cars multiple times at no cost. The free charging service is applicable to personal vehicles, excluding public transport like cabs, encompassing two-wheelers across different chargers on public networks.
