{"id":86104,"date":"2016-10-04T11:43:21","date_gmt":"2016-10-04T11:43:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/?p=86104"},"modified":"2016-10-04T11:43:21","modified_gmt":"2016-10-04T11:43:21","slug":"lt-synchronises-660-mw-unit-at-rajasthan-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/lt-synchronises-660-mw-unit-at-rajasthan-project\/","title":{"rendered":"L&#038;T synchronises 660 MW unit at Rajasthan project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Engineering giant Larsen &#038; Toubro (L&#038;T) has synchronised first 660 MW unit of the 1,320 MW thermal power project at Chhabra in Rajasthan. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;L&#038;T has on October 2, 2016 achieved synchronisation of its first 660 MW supercritical unit (Unit-5) of the project in record time of 42 months and four days from the date of Notice to Proceed (March 28, 2013),&#8221; the company said in a press release. <\/p>\n<p>The thermal power project is being developed by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (RRVUNL). <\/p>\n<p>It is the fastest synchronisation for L&#038;T amongst all its other projects to date and the speediest one so far for any indigenously manufactured supercritical unit in India, it said. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The synchronisation achievement shows that L&#038;T is well equipped to handle tighter project schedules and meet customer expectations. In this case, L&#038;T has bettered its own record,&#8221; L&#038;T Power CEO and Managing Director Shailendra Roy said. <\/p>\n<p>L&#038;T is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with USD 16 billion in revenue.
