Its objective was to showcase the government&#8217;s commitment to the development and scaling up of renewable energy in India to meet the national energy requirement in a socially, economically and ecologically sustainable manner. <\/p>\n<p>RE-Invest was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The participants included 702 companies including 124 international companies; 118 exhibitors and country-pavilions from Germany UK, Italy, UAE; 2,860 delegates from 42 countries; and 202 speakers from 29 countries. <\/p>\n<p>Senior representatives from the renewable energy industry, equipment manufacturers, global financial institutions, public sector enterprises, regulatory authorities, central and state governments, research institutions and academia participated in the 3-day conference &#038; expo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/livemedia.press\/subscribe\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/read-more.gif\" alt=\"http:\/\/telecomlive.in\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/read-more.gif\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RE-Invest 2015 is the first Renewable Energy Global Investors Meet &#038; Expo organised by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) held from 15-17 February 2015 in New Delhi.
