{"id":68168,"date":"2016-05-19T11:52:12","date_gmt":"2016-05-19T11:52:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/?p=68168"},"modified":"2016-05-19T11:52:12","modified_gmt":"2016-05-19T11:52:12","slug":"nhais-half-yearly-net-loss-widens-to-rs-133-cr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infralive.com\/web\/nhais-half-yearly-net-loss-widens-to-rs-133-cr\/","title":{"rendered":"NHAI&#8217;s half yearly net loss widens to Rs 133 cr"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>State-owned National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) net loss widened to Rs 133.04 crore in the six months ended March 31. <\/p>\n<p>NHAI, a statutory body under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, had recorded a net loss of Rs 96.54 crore in the second half of 2014-15 fiscal. <\/p>\n<p>Total expenses stood at Rs 137 crore in the second half of 2015-16 fiscal as against Rs 113.31 crore in the same period a year ago, it said in a BSE filing. <\/p>\n<p>The audit of accounts of the Authority are carried by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) on an annual basis. <\/p>\n<p>NHAI said, &#8220;As on March 31, 2015, there is a contingent liability of Rs 22,426.40 crore and 3,50,154 euro against the Authority.
