Of these, only 23 flights were diverted, while all others were cancelled.<\/p>\n<p>As per initial estimates, between 3,000-5,000 passengers were affected due to the suspension of operations.<\/p>\n<p>Chennai Airport has further suspended operations until 9 am on Tuesday, December 5, on account of adverse weather conditions. \u201cWe don\u2019t think there will be further suspension of operations.
