In a strategic move to accelerate India\u2019s transition to electric vehicles (EV), Servotech Power Systems said it has bagged an order to supply 2,649 electric vehicles (EV) charges from state-owned refiner Bharat Petroleum Corporation.<\/p>\n
Under the BPCL E-drive Project, these chargers will be installed at petrol pumps across various cities, marking a significant milestone in the expansion of the nation’s EV charging infrastructure.<\/p>\n
The project involves a range of 3 kW and 7 kW AC EV chargers, with production already underway. Servotech has announced that deliveries will commence on December 15 and are expected to conclude within a span of three months.<\/p>\n
Servotech Power Systems and BPCL had previously worked together to transform the E-Mobility landscape. The company also supplied and installed 800 units of 30 KW DC fast EV Chargers at different locations across the country for BPCL’s E-drive project.<\/p>\n
Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Power Systems, said, \u201cWe are honoured to lead India’s E-Mobility revolution in partnership with BPCL, collaborating closely to establish an energy corridor enabling on-the-move charging for electric vehicles across India.”<\/p>\n
She further added that the implementation of Servotech’s state-of-the-art AC EV Chargers will facilitate India’s progression towards its E-Mobility goals, reduce the carbon footprint of transportation, and support the country’s commitment to a cleaner, more sustainable transportation ecosystem.<\/p>\n
