The sites are needed for bridging two viaduct gaps \u2013 125m and 76m \u2013 which is key to the corridor\u2019s extension beyond the Ruby crossing to Metropolitan. <\/p>\n<p>Kolkata Police\u2019s traffic department on Saturday started four-day traffic trials for both sites after cordoning off the areas which will be required for building the Metro piers and the viaduct (on which tracks are laid) atop them. \u201cWe need to check the traffic system on the weekend and the weekdays.
