It is a 60% growth in solar generation through rooftop panels in a year, which helped the state power utility bag six national awards in Goa last week.<\/p>\n<p>Gujarat remains the leading state for rooftop solar, accounting for 24% of cumulative installations in India, followed by Maharashtra with 15% of total solar Photovoltaic (PV) installations across the country.
