In a statement issued on Sunday, the BMC said work is progressing at a fast pace. <\/p>\n<p>As per BMC officials, a girder weighing 1,250 tonnes is crucial in its construction, and 1,270 metric tonnes of steel have already been procured for the girder. Besides, over 25% of the girder has been fabricated in a factory in Ambala.
