The last peak demand recorded was a day earlier at 3,984MW and prior to that on June 1 at 3,971MW. The demand shot up by 145MW in a day.<\/p>\n<p>The Trombay thermal plant generation during peak demand was 724MW, while Tata Power\u2019s peak demand also rose to a record 1003MW for 15 minutes on Friday afternoon.
