The incident happened at approximately 11:20 GMT on Monday, and as a result, emergency services declared it a major incident. The location of the blast was at the intersection of Field Close and Clydach Road in Morriston. Wales &amp; West Utilities stated that the structural damage to the affected property was &#8220;severe,&#8221; and the property itself has been completely flattened. A neighbour who was present at the scene reported witnessing a boy being rescued from the rubble.<\/p>\n<p>Rob Stewart, the council leader, reported that the explosion had displaced 100 individuals.
