The 28-year old IT company has been selected for conversion of Freight Operating Information System (FOIS) from existing VB application to web-based model.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are very glad to inform that CRIS has shown faith in us and has provided us with the work order. This is our first order from CRIS,&#8221; Orchasp Managing Director Chandra Shekhar Pattapurathi said.<\/p>\n<p>The Freight Operating Information System (FOIS) is used for logistic management of freight traffic. The Operations function of FOIS provides the facility of acceptance of customer\u2019s order, supply of rakes\/wagons, movement tracking, consignment tracking, and delivery at destination.<\/p>\n<p>CRIS (Centre for Railway Information Systems) is an organization under Ministry of Railways.
