While some functions are beginning to come back online, National Airspace System operations remain limited,\u201d it said on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly before 8:30am (local time) departures were resuming at Newark and Atlanta airports \u201cdue to air traffic congestion in those areas.
