To begin with, it is reducing its transmission loss to save up to 1,200 crore by converting overhead low tension (LT) cables into high-tension lines before 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The Union ministry of power has sanctioned 2,700 crore for the project under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) and Tangedco is set to float tenders soon to carry out work across the state, said senior officials.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have incurred a loss of 13.4 % in 2021-22, of which 12.4% is technical loss and 1% is commercial loss.
