But India is far ahead in that aspect of decarbonization as 59% of its airline fleet comprises latest generation, fuel-efficient aircraft, according to data provided by European aerospace corporation, Airbus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReplacement of older generation aircraft is one of the most straightforward ways to decarbonize the sector and in that aspect India is well ahead of the curve,\u201d said an Airbus spokesperson in a response to a TOI query on the subject.
