We will hand over the land to K-RIDE (the special purpose vehicle which is executing the project) in a few days.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In October 2020, the Centre approved Bengaluru suburban railway project, but the civil works tender of only one corridor (25-km Byappanahalli-Yeshwantpur-Chikkabanavara &#8211; Mallige line) was invited. This despite PM Narendra Modi&#8217;s promise to deliver the project, which was pending for the past 40 years, in 40 months.
