In 2019, Mubin was \u201cexamined\u201d by the NIA for suspected ties to a radical network linked to Zahran Hashim, alleged mastermind of the 2019 Easter Sunday blasts in Sri Lanka. <\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Director General of Police C Sylendra Babu had said that Mubin may have been planning an attack.
